As one of HxH fans who suffer from the hiatuses, let me share this with you 
Bird!Gon - red (I change the colour and the shape to fit Gon's hair and outfit. Just like red, Gon is the main character and his attacks are quite simple compared to other but still dangerous)
Bird!Killua - yellow (same case as Gon, he's also fast just like yellow)
Bird Kurapica - blue (he's wearing blue outfit and his eyes can turn red)
Bird!Leorio - black (well...Leorio is impatient and easily explode, right?)
Bird!Biscuit - pink+big red (muscular Biscuit, I don't know how to make her muscular in her bird form so I make her...BIG)
Bird!Hisoka - orange (bubble and bubble gum, both are cheerful especially Hisoka when he find someone with potential~)
Bird!Illumi is a species on its own
Bad Doggie - bad piggie
